عقب تسجيل حالة وفاة بحمى الضنك… مفوضية العون الإنساني بالشمالية تطلق مناشدة عاجلة للتدخل

أطلقت مفوضية العون الإنساني بالولاية الشمالية مناشدة عاجلة إلى كافة المنظمات الأممية والوطنية وشركاء العمل الإنساني، دعت فيها إلى ضرورة التدخل الفوري والعاجل للحد من انتشار وباء حمى الضنك بمحلية مروي، لا سيما بمنطقة الزومة.

وجاءت هذه المناشدة في أعقاب تسجيل أول حالة وفاة بين المصابين بالمرض، في وقت بلغ فيه إجمالي عدد الحالات المسجلة (173) حالة إصابة حتى الآن، الأمر الذي ينذر بتفاقم الوضع الصحي بالمنطقة.

وأكدت المفوضية أهمية تكثيف الجهود والتدخلات الصحية والوقائية بصورة عاجلة، بما يسهم في احتواء انتشار المرض وتقليل آثاره، داعيةً جميع الشركاء إلى سرعة الاستجابة وتعزيز التدخلات الميدانية.

The Humanitarian Aid Commission in the Northern State has launched an urgent appeal to all UN and national organizations and humanitarian partners, calling for immediate and urgent intervention to curb the spread of the dengue fever epidemic in the Merowe locality, particularly in the Al-Zouma area.

This appeal came after the first death was recorded among those infected with the disease, at a time when the total number of reported cases has reached 173 infections so far — a situation that foreshadows a worsening health crisis in the region.

The Commission stressed the importance of urgently intensifying health and preventive efforts and interventions to help contain the spread of the disease and mitigate its impact, calling on all partners to respond swiftly and enhance field interventions.
