قتل شخصين بينهم طفل وأصيب 7 آخرين بينهم طفلين جراء القصف المدفعي الممنهج للدعم السريع والحركة الشعبية جناح الحلو على مدينة الدلنج بولاية جنوب كردفان، حيث أصبح القصف حدث يومي أسفر عن حالة من الذعر وسط المدنيين، إضافة إلى أضرار متفاوتة في المنازل والممتلكات، في ظل أوضاع إنسانية متدهورة ونقص حاد في الخدمات الطبية.
تدين شبكة أطباء السودان هذا الاستهداف الممنهج للمدنيين، وتعتبره انتهاكا صارخا للقانون الدولي الإنساني الذي يجرم استهداف المناطق السكنية والمرافق المدنية، وتحذر الشبكة من استمرار هذه الاعتداءات التي تفاقم من معاناة المواطنين، خاصة في ظل تردي الأوضاع الصحية وقلة الكوادر الطبية وعدم قدرة المرافق الطبية على استيعاب الأعداد المتزايدة من المصابين جراء تحولها لهدف من قبل الدعم السريع والحركة الشعبية.
تدعو الشبكة المجتمع الدولي والمنظمات الإنسانية إلى التدخل العاجل لحماية المدنيين والضغط على جميع الأطراف لوقف استهداف المناطق السكنية المكتظة بالمدنيين وضمان وصول المساعدات الإنسانية والطبية بشكل آمن وفوري كما تحمل الشبكة قيادات الدعم السريع والحركة الشعبية المسؤولية الكاملة عن هذه الانتهاكات وما يترتب عليها من خسائر في الأرواح والممتلكات.
Sudan Doctors Network: 2 Killed, Including a Child, and 7 Others, Including 2 Children, Injured in Shelling of Dilling by Rapid Support Forces and SPLM-N
Two people, including a child, were killed, and seven others, including two children, were injured in the systematic shelling of Dilling, South Kordofan State, by the Rapid Support Forces and the SPLM-N (al-Hilu faction). The shelling has become a daily occurrence, causing widespread panic among civilians and varying degrees of damage to homes and property, amid a deteriorating humanitarian situation and a severe shortage of medical services.
The Sudan Doctors Network condemns this systematic targeting of civilians, considering it a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law, which prohibits attacks on residential areas and civilian infrastructure. The Network warns against the continuation of these attacks, which are exacerbating the suffering of civilians—especially in light of worsening health conditions, a shortage of medical personnel, and the inability of medical facilities to cope with the increasing number of injured, as these facilities themselves have become targets of the Rapid Support Forces and the SPLM-N.
The Network calls on the international community and humanitarian organizations to intervene urgently to protect civilians and to pressure all parties to cease targeting densely populated residential areas. It also urges the provision of safe and immediate access to humanitarian and medical aid. The Network holds the Rapid Support Forces and the Popular Movement fully responsible for these violations and the resulting loss of life and property.
